Everton to name Sean Dyche as replacement for former Chelsea manager

Everton are said to be prepping up to name Sean Dyche as a replacement for former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard who was recently sacked from the club.

The Toffees picked Dyche as a new replacement after they were unable to convince former Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa to join them.

According to the report, Bielsa turned down Everton’s request because he has reservations over whether their Everton squad can adapt to his high-energy style.

A report via Sky Sports News claimed the cost of bringing Bielsa in also meant the deal was a difficult one to do.

Dyche will replace Frank Lampard, who was sacked earlier in the week.

He has been out of work since he was fired by Burnley last April after 10 years in the role.
