Brighton have taken action against Moises Caicedo over bids from Arsenal and Chelsea this January.

This comes as the two London rivals are in a hot chase to sign the South American star.

According to the report, Arsenal had offered £60 million for the player which was rejected out of hand on Friday.

However, on the hand, Chelsea, who submitted £55 million which was also turned down were yet to return with a second bid.

Caicedo in his way is trying to force a move away from Brighton as he went on to release a statement on Friday in which he told the club he wanted to leave.

But as it looks, the Seagulls are not ready to let him leave and, according to The Athletic, as punishment Caicedo has been told to stay away from the training ground by Brighton hierarchy.

The South American will be unavailable when Brighton play Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round tie on Sunday.
