Former Chelsea and Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte has set a new record for himself after he was finally unveiled as Tottenham Hotspur new coach.

This latest report has revealed that Conte is now the second-highest-paid coach in England and comes behind Man City manager Pep Guardiola who is the highest-paid coach in the EPL.

The reports revealed that Conte had put pen to paper on an 18-month deal at White Hart Lane on Tuesday to replace Nuno Espirito Santo, who was sacked on Monday.

According to the UK Sun, Conte’s contract is thought to be worth £15 million per year.

That works out at around £290,000 per week for the Italian, putting him on a level pay grade as Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

Guardiola leads the way on a staggering £20m per year or £385,000 per week.

Brendan Rodgers’ £10m annual pay packet at Leicester City is enough to secure fourth in the list.
