Liverpool striker and Egypt international Mohammed Salah has disclosed his intention to remain at Anfield till the end of his football career.

Salah, in his statement, disclosed he doesn’t see himself playing against the Reds as he stressed that his stay at Liverpool depends on the decision of the club.

The Egyptian striker has been at his best form for Liverpool this season, with 12 goals in 11 matches in all competitions already to his name.

However, Salah is still in talks with Liverpool on a new term in order to extend his contract.

This comes as the Egypt international current deal with the Reds run out at the end of the 2022/2023 season, and although he is yet to sign a new contract, Salah has now revealed his intention to remain at Liverpool.

“If you ask me, I would love to stay until the last day of my football career, but I can’t say much about that – it’s not in my hands.

“It depends on what the club want, not on me.

“At the moment I can’t see myself ever playing against Liverpool. That would make me sad. It’s hard, I don’t want to talk about it, but it would make me really sad,” Salah told Sky Sports.

This is a huge blow on the Spanish side Real Madrid who have shown interest in Salah.
