Man Utd vs Liverpool: The Reds are the better team but…

Liverpool will make a short trip to Old Trafford on Sunday when they face Man Utd in the premier league.

Ahead of the match, former Liverpool star Jammie Carragher has tipped Man Utd to win the match.

Carragher stressed that although Liverpool are the better team, it is difficult to win the Red Devils at home.

He also stressed that Man Utd come back against Atalanta in the mid-week game in the UCL is proof that the Red Devils are challenging to beat.

Carragher has now told the Essential Football Podcast that he sees Man United winning this game.

He said, “Man United at home against Liverpool notoriously, going back 10 or 15 years, they’ve had Liverpool’s number in the fixture. Liverpool have found it really difficult to win at Old Trafford and going back a long time, even the great Liverpool teams, it’s always been a venue Liverpool have struggled at.”

The former Liverpool star added that it will always be a tough game for Liverpool no matter what the circumstances are or the quality of Man United.

Liverpool will be heading to the match following their recent win vs Atletico Madrid in the UCL game.
