UCL: Chelsea get boost as Juventus will be without this two players
Following their defeat to Man City over the weekend in the Premier League, Chelsea will return to action in the UCL to face Italian giants Juventus.
Recall that the Blues, who are the UCL defending champion, won their first match in the tournament vs Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg.
They would hope to win all three points against Juventus in their next match.
Ahead of their match against the Old Ladies, Chelsea have been handed a boost as the Italian side will be without two key players.
This comes as Juventus coach, Max Allegri, confirmed that Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata would “certainly” miss their Champions League clash against Chelsea.
Allegri made this known in a post-match statement after their 3-2 win over Sampdoria on Sunday.
The match was Juventus first home win of the season and their second victory this week after the 3-2 at Spezia
“Dybala and Morata certainly won’t play against Chelsea or Torino. That is for sure. We can only hope that we get them back after the break for international duty.
“This is part of the game; we have to keep going,” Allegri said.
