The latest reports have revealed that European champions Chelsea are ready to cash in on one of their key players in the person of Antonio Rudiger.

While the Blues have been making moves to extend Rudiger’s stay at Stamford Bridge, the German defender has, however, refused to put pen to paper.

The latest report revealed that Chelsea will now wait till the January transfer window to put the player on sale as they don’t want to lose him for free.

While the Blues manager, Thomas Tuchel, is keen on keeping the defender at Chelsea, a report via La Colina de Nervion claimed that the Blues director Marina Granovskaia is ready to part ways with Rudiger in January should no contract resolution be reached.

Rudiger has been liked with moves to top European clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, who are all keeping a close eye on the situation at Stamford Bridge.

According to the report, the sales of Rudiger’s could lead Chelsea to reignite their interest in Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, who they were linked with in the recent summer transfer window.
