Liverpool reportedly ready to splash £80 million on this Dortmund 18-year-old star

A latest report has claimed that EPL side, Liverpool are ready to splash the total of £80 million in the coming transfer window that would see them sign youngster Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

Recall that the Reds didn’t make much purchase in the recent transfer window, with report claiming they hope to sign extension deals with their players.

However,  the impressive form by Bellingham since making the move to the Bundesliga from Birmingham City last year has caught the attention of the Reds and they are willing to bring him on board.

Apart from Liverpool, top clubs such as Chelsea, Man Utd are said to be plotting a swoop for the teenager in 2022 but his contract with Dortmund doesn’t end until 2025, which means any club that wants to sign him but table a very good offer.

According to the reports via the Daily Star, it claimed that Jurgen Klopp has earmarked Bellingham as the exact addition to his midfield, with the Reds unable to replace Georginio Wijnaldum in recent summer transfer window.

It further revealed that Liverpool are ahead of Manchester United in the race for the England international, who is also aware of interest for him in the Premier League.
