Premier League outfit, Chelsea are eager to trim down their squad and some experience players are set to leave the club this summer transfer window.

Chelsea have been quiet in this transfer window as they are yet to make any signing as they continue to be linked with some players.

However, the blues were one of the busiest club last summer as they shell out over £220 million on the likes of Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner, Edouard Mendy, and Hakim Ziyech.

The huge transfer fee brought a UEFA Champions League trophy to Stamford Bridge with Kai Havertz scoring the decisive goal for Thomas Tuchel’s team.

As Thomas Tuchel anticipate his first full season as the blues manager, the Germany tactician is now willing to offload Ross Barkley before the transfer window closes.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea are prepared to sell Ross Barkley to Newcastle United before the end of transfer window in Europe.

Barkley spent last season on loan at Aston Villa and has returned to Chelsea for their pre-season tour this summer.

If things work out, Barkley who has 33 cap for England will be heading to Newcastle who might not be getting their hands on their number one target, Joe Willock.
