Liverpool set transfer fee for youngster amid interest from four clubs

Liverpool are reportedly willing to let go of their young right back Neco Williams as four Premier League clubs jostle to land the Wales international.

Neco Williams has proven to be a reliable backup for the reds at right-back since he was promoted to the first team.

The Wales international has not been able to dethrone Trent Alexander-Arnold, and he believes there’s little chance of him moving ahead of the England international.

He is now willing to move on with his career, secure regular first-team football and continue his development in the Premier League next season.

According to the Athletic, four Premier League clubs are willing to sign him on a permanent deal.

The reports claimed that Leeds United, Southampton, Aston Villa and Burnley have all shown an interest in Williams, and Liverpool are ready to let him leave for a fee of £10m.

Though Aston Villa might not be signing him again after the confirmed return of Ashley Young, the other three top-flight clubs could all pursue Williams this summer.
