Chelsea star opens up on his reaction after Tuchel dropped him against Wolves

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has opened up on how he reacted to the changes made by Thomas Tuchel during his first match at the club, a match that saw him dropped to the bench.

Mason Mount was one of Chelsea’s best player under Frank Lampard but things changed when Tuchel arrived as he left the England international on the bench for his first match against Wolves.

The young midfielder who has now found his feet in the team have now shared how he felt on that day noting that it has been one of the best things to happen.

Mount stated that he has had that experience before and it when he was on loan at Vitesse Arnhem when he was 18, 19, that first couple of months he didn’t play hardly at all.

The talented midfielder pinpointed that he had that motivation and that fire to want to get into the team but the first game with the manager coming in, Tuchel went for a more experienced team.

Mount insisted that he understood that and wanted to get back into the team, so that motivation and that fire that he has inside him came out.

According to Mount, after the Tuchel’s first match, heI really tried to push to get back into the team and it’ss been brilliant.

He added that the team are working very hard, they’ve had tough games in this last period but they have come through it and it’s exciting stuff, they continue to work hard and it’s been a great start.
