Thomas Tuchel has been given the green light to pursue Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland by club owner Roman Abrahimovic.

Haaland has become Europe most wanted striker ever since he joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg as he’s been firing well also from all cylinders.

His situation at Dortmund have also been monitored by top European teams who believe they have a chance if the Bundesliga side fails to qualify for next year Champions League.

Chelsea who brought in Timo Werner from RB Leipzig last summer are willing to address their goal-scoring problems and have identified Haaland as their main man.

Blues fans might be having an opportunity of seeing Haaland at Stamford Bridge as their player as German outlet BILD reports that Abramovich has given his approval to a deal.

The reports added that Tuchel has been permitted to go all-out to sign the wunderkind this summer.

Dortmund are ready to cash out on Haaland as they wouldn’t accept anything less than €110m [£95m] which would be a club-record fee for the Blues.
