Former Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has revealed how far he’s willing to go before he retires from active football as he continues to be linked with a return to the Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard was a fans favourite during his time at Chelsea but he left Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 for a fee of £83.53m.

However, the 30-year-old has not been able to replicate his best form at Real Madrid as he’s been struggling with injuries.

Hazard’s injury at Real Madrid has limited him to just 35 appearances across one and a half seasons for the La Liga giants and this has raised tension amidst fans of the club.

However, Hazard has insisted that he wants to continue playing for another five or six years till he hangs his boot.

Speaking with On The Front Foot, Hazard stated that he’s just hoping to play football for as long as possible, and he always tries to enjoy himself on the pitch.

According to Hazard, when it comes to the end of his career he can look back at his achievements, but his priority now is playing well and enjoying football.

The Belgium international added that he doesn’t think about where he will be in the next few years, he just tries to focus on the next match and the next training session.

Hazard noted that he just turned 30 so as long as his body feels good, hopefully, he can keep playing for at least another five or six years.
