Why Zirkzee will never trust and respect Amorim again
Former Aston Villa midfielder, Nigel Reo-Coker recent sent a message to Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim about the club’s forward Joshua Zirkzee.
According to Reo-Coker, Zirkzee will never trust and respect Amorim again.
Recall that Zirkzee was substituted in just the 33rd minute during Man United’s Premier League 2-0 loss to Newcastle United a few days ago.
The Magpies were already two goals up before Amorim opted to make the change in his team.
Explaining his reason for replacing Zirzkee before half-time, Amorim said during his post-match said it was done because of the team.
“You have to think about the team and also sometimes about the player because the player is suffering,” Amorim saidm
However, Reo-Coker was of the opinion that Amorim’s decision was a tough experience for Zirkzee.
“It’s a tough experience for a player and a tough pill that Ruben Amorim will have to swallow,” Reo-Coker told BBC Radio 5 Live.
Following the experience, Reo-Coker said Zirkzee would never trust the Red Devils manager again.
“He will be able to look at him and say “good morning boss” but he will not have any respect for him deep down,” he added.
