Ten Hag gives three demands to sign new deal with Man Utd
A recent report via the Sun UK disclosed that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has listed three demands the Red Devils must meet before he considers signing a new contract.
The report added that Ten Hag and Man Utd heriarchy are now in talks over a contract extension.
Man United were previously linked with different coaches who they wanted to sign as a replacement for Ten Hag.
However, with no manager agreeing to their deal, the Red Devils have now decided to stick with Ten Hag ahead of next season.
There are claims that a new ontract is being discussed after the completion of an end of season review.
However, the Dutchman has listed out several conditions to United.
Topping the list is Jadon Sancho’s case. According to the reports, the Red Devils boss will refuse to allow the Dortmund loanee back into the first-team squad unless he apologies.
Ten Hag will turn down attempts from technical director Jason Wilcox to dictate his team’s playing style.
The Dutchman also wants the Red Devils to renew the contract of forwards coach Benni McCarthy.
This is coming after McCarthy had said he would be out of contract at Old Trafford in a few weeks, but expressed a desire to retain his job at Man Utd.
