Man Utd will return to action in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday night when they will face Europa League champions, Villarreal.

The Red Devils will hope to bounce back in on Wednesday after their defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier League over the weekend.

In a post-match statement on Tuesday, Man Utd coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said the match is not a must-win but an important one.

Ole said that it is a group stage, and there are only six games, and all they need was ten or maybe 12 points to go through to the next stage.

“We lost three points last time. If you end up with zero or one point after two games you need to win the last four games probably. Not a must win the game, but an important one,” he said.

Recall that the Red Devils have won their first match in the UCL tournament after they defeated Young Boys.

They have also been kicked out of the Carabao cup and will now have to rely on winning the Premier League title or UCL trophy this season, having not won any title since Ole took over.
