Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes on Saturday made his 200th appearance for Manchester United during their game against Fulham in the Premier League.

Fernandes scored the winning goal at the stoppage-time as he struck beyond Cottagers goalkeeper Bernd Leno from the edge of the penalty area to secure all three points for the Reds.

The goal was a fitting way for the Red Devils’ captain to mark his new record. He was also named Man Utd Man of the Match by the fans.

Recall that the Portugal star moved to Old Trafford from Sporting Club back in January 2020. He has become a key player in Man Utd squad since then.

Fernandes was named first-team captain by Erik ten Hag ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

In his 200th appearance for the Red Devils, Fernandes has scored a whopping 67 goals, creating 57 assists along the way too.

As of now, he is the seventh in regards to Man Utd’s leading appearance-makers within Ten Hag’s current squad, as he closes in on sixth-place defender Jonny Evans, who is on 205 outings.
