Fernandes reacts to Man Utd 4-0 loss to Brighton

Man Utd were in for another embarrassing defeat in the EPL after they were thrashed 4-0 by Brighton in the EPL.

Following the outcome of the match, Man Utd midfielder Bruno Fernandes said himself and his team players are to be blamed for the shameful defeat.

Fernandes said the Red Devils players should be embarrassed for their poor display this weekend.

Man United lost against Brighton at the Falmer Stadium following goals from Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, Pascal Grob and Leandro Trossard.

“I include myself in that,” Fernandes told Sky Sports.

“What we did today, what I did today, wasn’t enough to be in a Man Utd shirt and I accept it.”

He added, “A little bit of everything [went wrong]. Quality. Mentality. They deserved to win and we deserve to be in the position we are in now.

“It is something that we have to look at and be embarrassed because that wasn’t good enough from us and we’ve to do much better.”
