Manchester United have been handed a boost ahead of their faceoff with their rivals Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend.

The Red Devils defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to make a return to full fitness and could be back in the team within the next 10 days.

A report via the Daily Mail revealed that Wan-Bissaka has resumed training on the grass at Carrington and is nearing a return.

There are speculations he will be back up to speed and available within the next few days if the final stages of his rehabilitation go according to plan.

Wan-Bissaka has been out of action since the middle of September after he picked up a hamstring injury in the closing stages of Man United’s defeat to Brighton after being subbed on late in the match.

Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are on the sideline, and Sergio Reguilon is also struggling for fitness, Wan-Bissaka’s absence has been felt by the Red Devils with midfielder Sofyan Amrabat even required to fill in at full-back.

However, Man Utd may no longer have to keep waiting for Wan-Bissaka’s return to the line-up, which would then allow Diogo Dalot to play at left-back until Shaw is back from injury.
