Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka has decided to reject Liverpool after holding talks with the club top hierarchy, according to reports from Zambian Football.

Daka put in an impressive performance at Red Bull Salzburg last season, smashing 34 goals and 12 assists in just 42 games, an outstanding record.

His form has seen him being linked with top teams across Europe who are willing to add him to their ranks just months after Red Bull Salzburg lost Erling Haaland to Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool were one of the clubs willing to sign him, but he has decided not to join the reds; but instead, he will love to join Leicester City.

Reports from Daka’s home country of Zambia stated that the striker held talks with Liverpool and West Ham United.

However, he’s willing to join Leicester City, who promised to offer him more playing time than Liverpool and West Ham United.

However, Daka is picking Leicester City because they have offered him more guaranteed playing time, with Liverpool and West Ham rejected.

According to Athletic, Daka will cost Leicester £23million, who believes he’s a suitable replacement for Jamie Vardy, who is getting to his old age.
