Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has insisted that team are no longer in the title race as he noted that they might not make the top four of care is not taken.

Jurgen Klopp formed a formidable team last season as Liverpool were able to win their first Premier League title in thirty years.

The title was won astonishingly but things have changed this season as they’ve not been able to continue the good form.

Liverpool were beaten at home by Brighton just days after Burnley won at Anfield that have been a fortress for visiting team.

Ahead of their next match against Manchester City, Robertson stated that any game against Man City is a big one but as the moment stands, Liverpool are not in a title race.

The Scotland captain noted that they are seven points off it and Man City got a game in hand and he’s sure they would say the same if they were potentially 10 points behind us.

On the way forward, Robertson stated that the team need to get their form back, they need to get back to Liverpool that everyone knows.

He noted that the team need to put in performances consistently as it’s no good doing it one or two games in a row and then having a slip.

With Leicester City challenging for the top four spots, Robertson issued a warning to his teammates as he noted that they need to do it consistently as that’s the only way you get Champions League football and the only way you get trophies.
