Xavi wants Barcelona to go all out for this Liverpool star

A struggling Barcelona side in the Spanish LaLiga has come under the management of their former star, who is now their coach.

Xavi is determined to make a change at Camp Nou has been handing out the name of players he wants to sign to the club.

One of such players that Xavi has mentioned for Barcelona to sign his Liverpool striker and Egypt international Mohammed Salah.

The reports revealed that Xavi told the Catalans he wanted them to go all out for the Egyptian striker.

Salah has been impressive at Liverpool as he is rated one of the deadly strikers in Europe.

The Egypt international has 18 months left on his current contract with the Red Devils and is yet to agree to new terms on a contract extension, which may mean he is considering game time elsewhere.

According to El Nacional, Xavi is desperate for Barcelona to sign a high-profile attacker next summer, and the Spaniard believes that Salah would be the perfect acquisition for the club.

The report claimed that the new head coach at Camp Nou wants the Egyptian ‘at all costs’, with Real Madrid likely to sign Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer next year.

Salah has scored a total of 140 goals and 53 assists in 218 appearances for Liverpool since joining them from  Roma in 2017.
