The current form of France International, Olivier Giroud despite his age has been spectacular at Stamford Bridge this season and Former England international, Joe Cole believes it will haunt his former club, Arsenal, who are struggling to perform this season.

Giroud made a transfer move from Arsenal to Chelsea in the January transfer window back in 2018.

And during this week, Giroud served as a booster for the Blues squad after he scored four goals against Spanish giants, Sevilla in the Champions League.

Cole in his statement has however stressed that some people in Arsenal will be regretting ever selling the French striker to Chelsea in the first place.

While Chelsea have gained from Arsenal in a way, the Gunners on the other hand can not say the same about the two players ( Willian and David Luiz) they bought from the Blues.

“Frank is so driven and so focused. Chelsea is a difficult club to manage, he’s done it the right way, cut his teeth at Derby and not put a foot wrong,” Cole told the Mirror.

“Their win at Sevilla was brilliant. You had a lot of players coming in, you have to keep them all happy and Frank is clearly doing that. That’s really good management.

“Giroud is outstanding. Some people at Arsenal behind the scenes have to be accountable for letting him go. Was it age? But then they signed Willian and David Luiz.

“He’s a brilliant player, was for Arsenal, is now for Chelsea and he’s a model pro, a manager’s dream.”
