Why Arsenal remain title challenger despite draw vs Fulham

Fulham manager Marco Silva has tipped Arsenal to compete for the Premier League title this season despite their recent draw to his side this weekend.

The Gunners looked to have completed an impressive comeback with two goals in three minutes from Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah, cancelling out Andreas Pereira’s early opener during their match vs Fulham.

However, Joao Palhinha scored a late goal to ensure Fulham won a point against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Speaking at his post-match press conference after the game, Silva said, “We have great respect for Arsenal. In my opinion, they are going to be even stronger than last season.

“The quality they add for their squad is impressive and I have to say they are going to be contenders again because of the quality they have and the manager they have and all of that stuff.”

Arsenal finished at the second spot last season behind Man City after they were tipped to win the EPL title.
