What Ronaldo must do to be on same level as Messi

Former Chelsea defender, Glen Johnson, has sent a message to former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who seems to have been dropped out of the GOAT discussion.

According to Johnson Ronaldo needs to ‘improve’ if he wants to be back at the same level as Argentina’s Lionel Messi, France’s Kylian Mbappe and Brazil’s Neymar.

Johnson also urged Chelsea to sign the Portugal international on a six months deal when the winter transfer window starts in January.

Ronaldo is currently a free agent after his contract with Manchester United was terminated by mutual consent last month.

“I would take Cristiano Ronaldo at Chelsea for six months, absolutely.” Johnson told Midnite.

“Ronaldo has been the second or third-best player we have seen in our generation.

“If Ronaldo wants to be back in the same rank as Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi or Neymar, he needs to improve.”
