Well deserved: Kaka hails Chelsea after win vs AC Milan

Former football star Kaka has applauded the Blues after their recent win against his former club AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge.

Kaka admitted in his statement that the Blues led by Graham Potter ‘deserved’ to beat the Italian Seria A side.

The win against AC Milan was Chelsea’s first win in the Champions League under Potter, thanks to goals from Wesley Fofana, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Reece James.

AC Milan will likely need to beat the Blues in the 2nd leg next week to stand any chance of reaching the last 16.

“Chelsea deserved that result, said Kaka.

“I think they have a very consistent game they controlled the game the whole time. They didn’t create many opportunities but they took advantage of the opportunities they had.

“Most of them [chances] conceded by Milan and we were talking about the absence of the players and it’s important to keep the players that couldn’t play tonight but for Milan, it was a poor game.
