UCL table as Arsenal, Liverpool shine, Real Madrid struggle

Premier League side Arsenal boosted their chances of automatic qualification after they defeated Portuguese side Sporting 5-1. The North London club are sitting in 7th position.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain defeated Bundesliga club Bayern Munich 1-0, meaning they are 25th and in danger of elimination.
After the teams have played eight matches, the top eight will proceed to the last 16 and those ranked between ninth and 24th go to the play-offs trying to join them.
