Chelsea target and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the goal of the week in the Uefa Champions League tournament.

This comes as the Nigeria international scored an outstanding goal in Napoli’s 1-1 draw against Spanish giants Barcelona at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday night.

Osimhen put up strong form to Inigo Martinez just inside the penalty area on an Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa through ball and fired in from 14 yards.

The goal was the forward’s first goal in the UEFA Champions League this season.

The 25-year-old was in action for 75 minutes in the game before he was substituted.

Barcelona forward, Robert Lewandowski, PSV Eindhoven’s Donyell Malen and Porto’s Gelano are the other players in contention for the award.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are said to be keen on making a move for Osimhen in the summer transfer window.
