UCL: Chelsea vs Real Madrid – Likely prediction

Chelsea will return to action tonight in the Uefa Champions League as they host Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge.

The match is expected to be an interesting one as there is a lot to look out for especially from players who have played on both sides.

Chelsea were able to hold the Los Blancos to a 1-1 draw in Spain last week and will hope playing the second leg in England will bring an advantage to them.

Ahead of the game, former football star, Michael Owen has dropped his prediction.

Owen predicts Chelsea would win tonight and move to the final to face Man City at Istanbul.

In his statement, Owen told BetVictor, “Onto Wednesday night’s match where Chelsea have a huge opportunity as they take on Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge.”

According to him, this is the type of game where Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel thrives.

With an away goal in the bag, Owen said Tuchel is sure to have his side well drilled with the aim of giving nothing away.

”If Chelsea are happy to sit in, I think there is every chance they could nick one on the break against a Madrid defence that’s looked shaky in recent weeks,” Owen said.
