UCL: Chelsea injury update vs AC Milan

Chelsea will return to action tonight in the UCL when they play against Italian side AC Milan at San Siro.

Ahead of the match, the Blues manager Graham Potter has given his team injury update.

Recall that during the first leg of the game last week, the Blues won with a 3-0 scoreline at Stamford Bridge.

However, summer signing Wesley Fofana, who scored his first-ever club goal for Chelsea in that match, will not be available for the 2nd fixture.

Fofana sustained a knee problem during the match and was ruled out for up to six weeks.

Aside from Fofana, Hakim Ziyech is also ill, while N’Golo Kante’s recovery from injury is still monitored.

“Hakim [Ziyech] is ill. N’Golo [Kante] was just waiting for his reaction from his training.

“It is certainly not ideal [his reaction] so we will have to wait and see the extent of it and go from there,” Potter said.
