UCL: Chelsea injury doubt vs Juventus

The Blues will return to action on Wednesday in the Uefa Champions League when they face Italian giants Juventus at Turin.

Chelsea will head to the game after their first defeat, which they suffered over the weekend during their clash against Man City in the Premier League.

While the West London side will hope to bounce back, their manager Thomas Tuchel in a pre-match statement, has revealed injury doubt on one of his players.

Tuchel stressed that he is doubtful if Mason Mount will fit the match against Juventus in Italy.

Tuchel revealed that it would be a “matter of hours” to decide if Mount makes the trip or not.

Recall that the English midfielder missed the Blues Saturday’s loss to Manchester City due to a “minor knock”.

Mount is yet to recover enough for the team to rely on his presence vs the Serie A giants.

Even if he get medical permission to play on Wednesday, it is unclear he would play the entire match as Tuchel would likely introduce him in the second half.
