Two players that will cost Arsenal a title this season

Football pundit Alex Crook has weighed Arsenal’s chances of winning a Premier League title this season.

Crook believes that the Gunners’ two options in the number nine position, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, are not capable of helping them win the Premier League.

Jesus and Nketiah have been the key players leading the attack for the Gunners in the last two seasons.

They both scored a total of 15 Premier League goals for Arsenal when they finished second in the league, behind Manchester City last season.

However, Crook in a recent statement expressed his doubts about the chances of Jesus and Nketiah helping the Gunners win the domestic league this season.

He also advised Arsenal to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney if they are serious about challenging Manchester City for the title.

“I don’t think Arsenal will win the league with Nketiah or Jesus as their number nine,” Crook said (via TBR football).

“I think if they do get Ivan Toney and he can hit the ground running it gives them a great chance.”
