Two players Chelsea are willing to part ways with to sign Osimhen

Chelsea are reportedly keen in their race to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen this summer transfer window.

While the Blues have already signed Marc Guiu from Barcelona this summer and still have Nicolas Jackson at Stamford Bridge, they remain interested in signing Osimhen as they build a new team under manager Enzo Maresca.

While 25-year-old Osimhen has a very high price tag, the Blues are allegedly prepared to offer a couple of players in a potential deal for him.

Recall that the 2023/24 season was a disappointing one for Napoli, who were unable to defend their Serie A title, but Osimhen was still able to score 15 goals in 25 league appearances.

One player who was mentioned in a swap deal for Osimhen is Belgian star Romelu Lukaku, who could reunite with former manager Antonio Conte if he ends up moving to Napoli this summer.

The other Blues player is Trevoh Chalobah, however, there were reports that Chelsea were also willing to offer Armando Broja.

Chelsea can afford to let Chalobah go, having recently signed Tosin Adarabioyo this summer transfer window. They also already have the likes of Benoit Badiashile, Levi Colwill, Axel Disasi and Wesley Fofana before the former Fulham man’s arrived at Stamford Bridge.
