The recent reports have claimed that Chelsea are attempting to offload Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella to Spanish side Real Madrid as they seek to avoid breaching Financial Fair Play, FFP, rules.

Since the Blues was taken over by the Todd Boehly-led consortium in 2022, they have splashed millions on signing new players and securing long-term contracts, prompting concerns about a potential FFP breach.

A report via  Football365 revealed the west London club are now looking to raise funds by selling players, with Conor Gallagher linked with a move away and Fernandez and Cucurella being offered to Real Madrid.

Recall that the Blues signed Fernandez from Benfica for £106 million in January 2023 and he has emerged as a standout contributor for Chelsea, making 57 appearances and scoring seven goals.

Cucurella, on the other hand, moved to Stamford Bridge from Brighton & Hove Albion for £60 million in 2022, but his performances in the defence have been inconsistent
