Ahead of their next game vs Crystal Palace next week, Chelsea will be without two former Man City stars Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer.

This comes as the English duo were handed their fifth booking of the season during the 2-1 defeat at Wolves on Sunday.

This automatically triggers a one-match ban for players.

Aside from Sterling and Palmer, Nicolas Jackson also picked up his eighth yellow card of the season and will face a two-game suspension when he is booked for the 10th time.

Meanwhile, Chelsea were unable to hold down Wolves as the duo of Mario Lemina and Matt Doherty gave the hosts all three points.

Christopher Nkunku managed to pull one back for the Blues towards the end of the match at the Molineux but it was not enough.

The recent result leaves Chelsea in the 10th spot with 22 points on the league table.
