Tuchels speaks as Chelsea loss to Arsenal

Chelsea suffered a defeat in the Premier League clash with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge under coach Thomas Tuchel.

Arsenal found the back of the net on Wednesday night following a error from Italian midfielder, Jorginho who passed the ball to Kepa Arrizabalaga.

However, the midfielder’s pass ran past Kepa, creeping into the open net.

While Kepa kept the ball out, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang squared to Emile Smith Rowe for a simple tap-in.

Following the free gift to Arsenal, Thomas Tuchel has reacted to the Blues recent defeat.

“It’s totally our fault, nobody elses. I think we lost the game. It’s totally our responsibility. We had huge changes, we made an own goal more or less. A total gift.”

Tuchel added that overall the Blues were not sharp enough in the game vs. Arsenal.

”We could not put the same energy in as usual,” the German told a press conference after the game.

When asked whether Jorginho should have passed it wide of the post, he responded: “The rule is pass the ball to the right foot of Kepa. This is the rule.

“No matter if it’s in the goal or sideways, pass it to Kepa.”

Jorginho’s performance could see Chelsea consider a transfer for him in the summer transfer window.
