Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta has been under heavy criticism and heat from Gunners fans especially owing to their poor performance so far this season.

The Gunners who finished out of the top six last season, are on the course of being regulated this season as they currently seat at the bottom of the table.

With the reports suggesting that Arteta’s last chance would be determine by the outcome of Arsenal’s game vs. Norwich City, this Saturday, former Chelsea and Aston Villa star, Tony Cascarino has tipped former Bolton Wanderers boss, Sam Allardyce to Arsenal as a possible replacement at Emirate Stadium.

Cascarino in his statement stressed that Allardyce is in a much better position than Arteta and would make the Gunners a better club.

“If you look at what he did to West Brom – I know they went down – but he certainly made them far better defensively,” Casc told talkSPORT.

Arsenal started the new season on a very bad foot as they lost their first three matches and scoring no goal against Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Despite the fact that Arsenal were the highest spender in the recent summer transfer window, spending as high as £156 million, it has so far not paid off.
