Trossard may be losing patience being placed behind former Chelsea star at Arsenal

Former Arsenal star Ian Wright in a recent statement explained why Leandro Trossard may be losing patience being placed behind Kai Havertz in the Gunners’ pecking order.

Trossard, who Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has used as a sub throughout the season has impressed when called upon.

The Belgian star has started six of 13 matches across competitions for Arsenal, scoring five goals and creating one assist.

However, the same can’t be said about Havertz, whom Arteta has handed a prominent starting role.

The former Chelsea player has failed to impress, scoring just one goal and creating one assist in 18 games across competitions.

“At some stage Kai has to sit himself down and say ‘I’m keeping that guy out, should I be?’ Trossard has every right to go in and say ‘What more? Help me out? What more do I need to do? When I came here it was about assists and goals, I have saved games,” Wright said (via TBRFootball).

“I help you win games, what kind of level of faith, what do I need to do?’”
