Tottenham to sign Arsenal star as Kane’s replacement

Tottenham Hotspur are already on the lookout for a new player they can sign to replace Harry Kane before the summer window closes.

The latest report has linked the Hotspurs with a shocking move for Arsenal attacker Folarin Balogun as a potential replacement for Kane.

Recall that Kane recently left Tottenham to join German club Bayern Munich this summer.

Following his departure, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has expressed a desire to sign a new striker to replace Kane at Spurs this summer.

Different names have been tentatively linked with Tottenham, but a report via La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed Postecoglou’s side are considering an unprecedented move for Balogun.

Balogun had a fantastic loan spell with French Ligue 1 side Reims last campaign, but despite his impressive form, he still doesn’t appear to be in Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s plans this season.

This comes as the Gunners are willing to sell the 22-year-old but they want £50million for the USA international.

We will have to wait to see if Liverpool would be willing to part with such an amount.
