Chelsea are said to be planning to make some new signings in the January transfer window.

The Blues want to boost their squad under manager Enzo Maresca as a report via TBRfootball disclosed that they have identified three different strikers as potential additions, either in January or next summer.

Chelsea are said to still be interested in Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray after he was unable to secure a permanent switch away from Napoli.

Chelsea are monitoring the situation of the Nigeria international who has contributed four goals and three assists in seven appearances for Galatasaray, who are hoping to retain his services for the remainder of the campaign.

As per the terms of his loan contract, Osimhen can leave for a bigger European club if he gets a suitable offer at the midway point of the season.

Chelsea or another club interested in Osimhen may be forced to pay a €90m (£75.44m) release clause.

Aside from Osimhen, Chelsea also have their eyes on RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Newcastle forward Alexander Isak.

Recall that Sesko penned a new long-term contract with Leipzig earlier this year and has scored five goals and created two assists in the Bundesliga and Champions League during 2024-25.

Isak, on the other hand, has over three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract with Newcastle, which means the Magpies wouldn’t let hin go cheaply.
