With the January transfer now less than two months away, Chelsea will be among the clubs that would be completing some transfer deal.

This article is focused on three deals Chelsea need to work on in January.

The first on the list is Antonio Rudiger’s deal with the Blues. The German will see his current deal with the Blues end this next summer; however, both sides are yet to reach common ground, with the German pushing for a possible move away from the club.

Chelsea will have to make use of the January transfer window to make a stance on their future with Rudiger.

Another Chelsea player on this list is Andreas Christensen; the Danish player will also see his current deal end soon.

Like Rudiger, Christensen has become a key player for Chelsea at the back, and it would be a big blow to lose both defenders without making adequate provision if they intend not to stay.

One player Chelsea could consider signing in January is Jules Kounde from Sevilla.

Its a known fact that the Blues have their eyes on the highly-rated 22-year-old who they wanted to sign last summer.

If Chelsea are unable to extend the contract of Rudiger or Christensen, then they have to make a move for Kounde.
