Switzerland international, Granit Xhaka has taken a swipe at his fellow teammates at Emirate stadium ahead of his moves to Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma squad.

The report revealed that Xhaka has agreed on personal terms with Roma and would be moving to the Italian League next season.

Recall that Xhaka was closed to leaving the Emirate Stadium in January 2020 but he was convinced to stay put by the club’s manager, Mikel Arteta.

Following his decision to stay, Arsenal went on to win the FA Cup and Community Shield last year but their performance last season was worst as they didn’t qualify for next season’s European football.

With the player set to leave in a matter of weeks, he has disclosed that he has been happy with his displays as he declared that he has been good as the Gunners team.

He told Blick: “Football is a team sport and you’re only as good as your team. Of course, it was a good year for me personally.

“I’ve always played and performed, but the place at the end of the season is, of course, really bitter and disappointing for us”.
