This player may be solution to Chelsea’s major problem

Former Liverpool star, Peter Crouch in a recent statement suggested that Chelsea may have found the answer to their search for a top-class No.1 goalkeeper in the person of Djordje Petrovic.

Recall that the Blues led by Mauricio Pochettino moved up from tenth to eighth spot on the Premier League table following a 1-0 victory against Fulham on Saturday.

Chelsea won the match thanks to Cole Palmer’s first-half penalty which helped them secure all three points at Stamford Bridge.

However, Petrovic’s performance at the back helped keep Chelsea’s narrow lead intact.

“He [Petrovic] looks really assured, he was catching the ball, taking the pressure off his defenders; he was vocal, he made a couple of good saves,” Crouch told TNT Sport.

“He looks like the answer because they have really struggled for goalkeepers in recent years.”
