The only thing that will make Tuchel remain at Chelsea

Chelsea coach and Germany international Thomas Tuchel is expected to remain at Stamford Bridge, amid the reports linking him to Manchester United if the Blues can resolve their future.

This is according to former Chelsea star Glen Johnson, who said Tuchel would do everything within his power to remain at Stamford Bridge.

Following the sanction placed on Chelsea by the UK government, the German manager has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

As of now, the West London club cannot buy or sell players and are unable to sell match tickets until they get new owners.

It is not certain that Chelsea’s new owners will want Tuchel to remain at Stamford Bridge, and considering his cordial relationship with Ralf Rangnick, Old Trafford could be his next destination.

“I think not if he gets some guidance from the Chelsea board about a deal being close,” Johnson told Bettingodds.

“However, if this situation bubbles on for twelve months, then yes. People will be looking for their own futures.

“But if this is done in months, then Tuchel and the players have got some confidence in that, then no, I don’t think he would be interested in the Manchester United job at all.”
