Chelsea reaching €80m move following talks

Chelsea are supposedly reaching the move of Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz in a deal that would cost around €80m.

As per report, personal terms are almost agreed for Kai Havertz to move to Stamford Bridge, with the player enthused about the move and the Blues at present the only club ready to pay what’s required for the deal, with talks working out positively over the details of his contract.

The 21-year-old looks an outstanding young talent and would be a massive amazing buy for Chelsea, who could do with a player like him as a long-term swap for Eden Hazard.

The Blues were handed a huge blow of losing Eden Hazard to Real Madrid while under a transfer ban the previous summer, and have absolutely offered some kind of reparation this year by previously agreeing deals for Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

Kai Havertz would be another quality signing to help Chelsea’s squad for next season, with Frank Lampard doing great with a young squad this season, regardless of whether a top four completion isn’t yet certain beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Frank Lampard’s side are in a solid position, however, and furthermore have a FA Cup final with Arsenal coming up after beating Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley yesterday.

Including the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech to their squad should assist Chelsea FC become genuine Premier League title contenders next season.
