Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has stated that the club’s latest summer signing Rasmus Hojlund will bring a physical presence to their squad next season.

Ten Hag in his statement also hailed Hojlund as a good presser, stressing that the 20-year-old is very direct through the goal.

This is coming after the Red Devils signed the young striker from Atalanta, on Saturday.

Speaking about Hojlund, Ten Hag in a statement via Man United’s official website said: “He [Hojlund] is a real front man.

“Very direct through the goal. Very good presser. Physical presence. In the balance of this squad, we needed that.

“It is all that is in his [Hojlund] mind. He wants to score goals.

“I think he has such a huge potential and now it is up to him to exploit it and we will support him.”

Hojlund arrived at Old Trafford after Andre Onana from Inter Milan and Mason Mount from Chelsea.
