Stick with Jackson – Chelsea advised against signing this striker

Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit has sent a message to Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.

Petit in his advice to the Blues urged them to stick with their forward Nicolas Jackson instead of signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

It is no longer news that the Blues are keen on signing Osimhen as they look to boost their attack ahead of next campaign.

The move for a new striker comes after Senegal star, Jackson, who is in his first season at the West London club has repeatedly missed clear-cut chances for the London club.

He has also failed to impress for the Blues, which calls for the need to find a better replacement.

Despite this, Petit has urged the Blues to keep Jackson instead of signing Osimhen or any other striker.

He advised Chelsea to trust Jackson over buying Osimhen or Isak.

Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, the former football star said Chelsea do not need Osimhen or Alexander Isak.

According to him, everyone was aware of the No.9 curse at Stamford Bridge, adding that despite this, the Blues have seen what Jackson can do in the last couple of months.

Meanwhile, Chelsea who are at the 7th spot on the table are hoping to get a spot in European tournaments next season.
