Manchester City are reportedly willing to let go of defender Aymeric Laporte on only one condition this summer transfer window.

Laporte lost his place in Manchester City’s first team last season with Pep Guardiola sticking to the partnership of Dias and Stones.

Though Laporte has started Manchester City’s first two matches and scoring in last weekend’s 5-0 win against Norwich City, the Spain international might still leave this summer.

Barcelona have been linked with him ever since the transfer window but a new report from Daily Mail has claimed Pep Guardiola will only allow Laporte to leave City if an offer of £60m is made.

Real Madrid and Juventus were also linked with Laporte but as per Sport, Barcelona is the centre-back’s preference.

However, the 27-year-old might not be able to complete his proposed move to Barcelona who are currently going through financial crisis.

Barcelona’s financial problems have been widely documented throughout the transfer window with the Spanish club forced to sign players on free transfer.

Latest report have now indicated that Barcelona will be willing to sign Laporte on a free transfer, a deal City might not accept.
