Six Chelsea players, others make UCL team of the week

The organisers of the Uefa Champions League on Thursday revealed the list of the team of the week, which was massively dominated by Chelsea, who had six players in the team.

Two Atletico Madrid stars and others were also named in the starting XI.

The Europe football governing body released the Champions League team in a post via its website after the conclusion of this week’s round of 16 first-leg games on Wednesday night.

Recall that the Blues emerged winner in the first leg of the round of 16 after they defeated Lille 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, thanks to two goals from Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic.

Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United in Spain.
