While Man Utd are still in talks to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, the latest report has revealed that if the England international finally completes a deal to Old Trafford, he would become the second-highest-paid player at the club.

However, the Red Devils are still having a tough time convincing Dortmund to agree to their transfer price.

The reports have revealed that the two clubs remain at loggerheads over the transfer fee for the England international.

While the Red Devils have proposed a £67million bid, which was rejected on Thursday, the German side want £80m instead to part ways with Sancho.

Despite this setback, Man Utd have reportedly reached personal terms with Sancho.

According to the Guardian, the 21-year-old is set to be handed a five-year deal worth around £350,000-a-week.

In doing so, the English player would become the second-highest earner at the club, just a little behind goalkeeper David de Gea who currently earns £375,000-a-week at Old Trafford.

Sancho will also join the list of the top five highest earners in the EPL which include De Gea, Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who also earns £350,000 and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling at £300,000.

Kevin De Bruyne also recently joined the list after he signed improved terms on his old £300,000-a-week deal back in April.
